Where is everyone buying their national championship gear from? Dicks has some items that will start to ship soon, but was curious where else. I don’t live in Florida, so online sites probably what I’ll have to use.
Here is what I have: https://www.fanatics.com/college/fl...ce=Impact&utm_medium=affiliates&SSAID=1205322 NIL Store | Florida National Champions Everyone post their ideas...and sales. Definitely the sales!
Just stay away from Fanatics branded shirts unless you want to only be able to wear it 3 times. I know its hard as they are basically a monopoly on gear now, but just sayin'.
How can we be sure of which NIL site supporting student athletes is legit and not a company trying to make a quick buck? These NIL sites are popping up all over the place and I think a lot of them are frauds, profiting off the era we are in. I know Florida Victorious sales (maybe minus 10% for operating expenses) go toward NIL. Alma Mater is another local Gainesville owned store whose NIL memorabilia goes to the players. But sites like this I think are taking advantage. Literally a ton of them pop up on Facebook. Wish there was a way to tell the reals from the fakes.
Thanks for starting this thread. I've been looking online and here are some places I have found: Homefield Apparel: Vintage University of Florida Gators Apparel | Homefield Not a lot of designs, but some good stuff. A little more expensive than some of the other options. BreakingT: Florida Gators Has some NIL shirts (including Alijah Martin dunking with Handlogten jumping in the background) and some that are just Florida Gators. Site is legit as far as players are paid for their NIL. NIL Store: NIL Store | Florida Men's Basketball This seems to be the broadest selection of player/NIL designs. However, I'm a little disappointed how little National Championship gear they have made. There are a lot of designs from throughout the tournament, so it's worth a look. '47 Brand: Florida Gators Hats, Apparel & Merch | Licensed NCAA Shop | ’47 I mainly think of 47 as a hat company and they have a few National Champion hats. They also have a few shirts. Fanatics/Alumni Hall/Dick's: These have what I consider more plain and mass-produced gear. However, there is a broader selection of memorabilia (not just clothing but also have pennants, coffee mugs, bumper stickers, flags, etc.). Hollister: https://www.hollisterco.com/shop/us...9850?categoryId=616103979&faceout=prod&seq=01 Not sure if I'm searching their site correctly, but I'm only seeing the one sweatshirt there.
Well, I guess we could post what we know on a fan forum. Do you know any good ones? You know, one who would never have me as a member...
I like the Homefield offerings and after about 6 washes can say the graphics are holding up well. Can't say the same for Fanatics and some of the '47 stuff.
At my age...(I find myself saying that more often than ever lately)...you youngsters will have many more years to sport this stuff. I have some event swag from the past, '96 NC hats, t-shirts, 200 and 2006 FF coffee mugs, an 07 FF hat with a Gator on the front brought to me by a friend that went...low-key. This time around I have no interest in commemorating this championship. I like stuff that just says "Florida" or "Gators". I prefer items that can be worn whatever sport we happen to be contending in at the moment, and there are so many...plus my t-shirt drawer is full.
I know! In order to pay for one shirt, and the taxes and shipping, I figure I would have to give up one whole week of drinking my morning commute Starbucks plain-jane 12 ounce coffee. HORRORS!!!
Agree. I actually just got a great shirt on sale this week. Royal blue, Jordan brand , dri fit, just the jumpman with a block lettered "GATORS" and the Gator head logo all in orange with no white. Clean, simple, sharp, wear it for any sport. On sale from $39 to $25 and I had some Fanatics bucks saved up so it only cost like $13. Plus it had a fee shipping coupon. You can find great deals on even the quality stuff if you hunt
My big coup was getting a retro football jersey for $25 at the Betty Griffin shop in St Augustine last visit. I was alive in 1966, and living in Gainesville at the time. I think I've earned it. Says it all: #1
At your age? Let’s test how old you are. Do you have a commemorative Coca Cola 6 pack bottle celebrating our football 2006 National Championship? There might even be an older one celebrating SEC championship. Mine gathers dust in my office, and I feel like every old timer has one on these on his shelf.
Yes, I do have one of those bottles in a box in the garage. I have Matchbox 18-wheelers commemorating that '96 NC also. At the time, we never thought we'd get another one! I also have ALL of the Gainesville, Jax and Knoxville newspapers from our NCs in football, some of the bigger UF/GA games and the big wins over the Vols. I also have the "pop up" posters celebrating our 52-20, and 32-29 victories over the Noles, brought to me by family that were at the games. I throw away nothing!
