First we had the Waffle House Cabinet walk back the Gaza development plan.

Then they walked back the peace in Ukraine plan.

Now they are walking back Tariffs to own the libs in Canada plan.

I can’t take all the winning.

Can you say "dead cat bounce" and "bear market rally"?
A dead cat bounce is a temporary, short-lived recovery of asset prices from a prolonged decline or a bear market that is followed by the continuation of the downtrend. Frequently, downtrends are interrupted by brief periods of recovery—or small rallies—during which prices temporarily rise.

The name "dead cat bounce" is based on the notion that even a dead cat will bounce if it falls far enough and fast enough. It is an example of a sucker's rally.

A bear market rally refers to a temporary uptrend in prices during a primary trend bear market. The increase is usually between 10% and 20%. It starts suddenly and does not last long. Notable bear market rallies occurred during the stock market crash in the Dow Jones Industrial Average in 1929 all the way to the market bottom in 1932, and in the late 1960s until the early 1970s. It comes in two types:

    What we experienced yesterday
    #1 Short-term bear market rally

This usually lasts from half a day to two days. A short-term bear market rally happens when the stock market experiences several lows within a week or month.

Can't believe trump is some sort of genius just because his dad gave him hundreds of millions of dollars. If he would have left that money in an S&P index fund instead of losing so much of it, he would have around 38 BILLION today.
Yet, some trolls think he is a genius.

He's nouveau riche vs old money.
Or, the standard rule of investing in markets is useful: don't touch your principal to speculate.

The same ones here predicting economic demise under President Trump are the same ones who predicted it during his first term, predicted Trump started WW3 when we took out Qasem Soleimani, predicted Trump would go to prison, predicted Jack Smith had him dead to rights, predicted Joe Biden was coherent, predicted Joe Biden would destroy Trump in a rematch, predicted Kamala would win. You get the picture...

That which you describe indicates TDS is chronic, likely incurable. Wonder if TDS is a genetic predisposition or an infection: viral, bacterial, fungal, or parasitic.
