I was thinking "The dow was at 42000 last week, I wonder if anyone is stupid enough to consider today a win".

    The cult never disappoints.

"Even a Fox Business Network senior correspondent admitted President Donald Trump “capitulated”

“I mean, let’s be clear what happened, you know, who capitulated here and why? ... but it is the White House who capitulated

“When you have yields on the 10 year rising to 5%, stuff starts shutting down. When you have the lending markets screwed up,”....."

He flushed the toilet on the tariffs once he saw the bond market dump.

Why do you think that Trump is a fan of the uneducated?

How many +3,000 point days did Creepy Joe have? President Trump is so good that he can do everything in his power to destroy the country one week and generate a +3,000 point rise in the stock market the next. He should purposely destroy the country more often.

It is amazing. You have to really hate America to not consider a 3,000+ point Dow Jones gain in one day a win. I enjoy watching the likes of you tattle on yourself with posts like these.

Claiming “wins” for a 3,000 point increase after shooting ourselves in the foot by 7,000 is comedy gold.

I'm going to start a business to fleece people with your mindset. On second thought, the casinos have you lot covered (well, except Trump who’s one of the few people that could run a casino into the ground).

Considering the S&P gained 68% during his first term, do you think it's possible the stock market may go up again?

I fully realize this may be difficult for some, but this isn't linear.

Have you considered the market could've gone up and not dropped at all if Trump never announced a huge round of tariffs? And the only reason the market went up is Trump caved in and put a 90 day hold on tariffs? And three months from now, we could be facing the same shit again?

I think starting a post with "have you considered" with okee is silly. You know he hasn't.

O.k., what we would like for you to do is hit yourself in the head with a hammer, but without having a knee-jerk reaction to decide that you won't like it. Make sure that a significant amount of time has passed after you do it so we can accurately and more fully dissect the results. That would be the most prudent thing to do--let some time to pass before deciding whether the hammer was a good idea or a bad one.

Imagine what a deluded partisan you have to be to be OK with our equity markets losing $10T in 3 days then claiming victory when your boy capitulates because our bond markets are collapsing, interest rates spiking, our debt looking unsaleable at reasonable rates and every business leader in America disagrees with you (other than the abject sycophants who wear a Trump INC name badge and a red MAGA hat) Just to own the libs. Perhaps your next brilliant strategic recommendation will be for us to just default.

The conventional wisdom is when markets are in turmoil a “flight to safety” means $$$ pours into the U.S. as a safe haven. There’s a certain entitlement mentality to those who think “American exceptionalism” is a thing they are simply… owed. Rather than a thing we have because of what had been seen as a stable democracy.

Guess they never considered when you make U.S. appear unstable or isolationist, or even possibly challenge the very fabric of our rule of law, that flight to safety may in fact go the other direction ($$$ fleeing the U.S.).
