Knox has better rivers than Hogtown.

He's got a curious looking shot and no clue how good he is defensively, but he checks a lot of boxes: big guard, shoots, scores in the paint, rebounds, can run the one. Statistically, he was the best shot creator in Ivy. Also by far their best offensive and defensive plus-minus among their regulars. Great assist and usage rates, outstanding rebound rate for a guard, not a bad turnover rate. Solid from 2 and 3.

What I like is how he performed against better non-Ivy teams:
19 pts, 6 assists, and 4 rebs in a win against Akron
    21, 11, and 6 in a win over Rutgers
30, 6, and 5 in a win against Texas State
    17, 6, and 5 in a loss to Loyola-Chicago
    27, 8, and 4 in a win over Iona

    Just about everybody does.

When I was looking for an academic position in engineering I got an offer from UF and before I took it I got an offer from South Carolina and USC had a really good friend of mine on the faculty which was a huge plus and he knew that I was a whitewater enthusiast. So on my recruitment visit to USCe my friend took me up to the Chattooga River (think the movie Deliverance if you are not familiar with whitewater rivers) to look over the rapids. I was an "open boat" canoeist but that allowed lots of inflated bags. Very cool rapids for the most part but I remember one that struck me with dread. It was a very regular hydraulic off of a ledge. DANGER! But doesn't look so bad to the untrained eye. Especially if it had a downed tree in it and I had no idea if it did or it didn't.

Anyway too much technical stuff about whitewater but they did try to get me to chose a school based on rivers.

    I didn't.

Hopefully a good side effect of winning the Natty is that more NIL money will flow into the program.

Now we can start looking forward to next year. Will any of our current players hit the portal. Will Alex Condon go to the NBA or come back? Will Micah Handlogten get back to his pre-broken leg abilities and learn to make free throws? What players will Todd Golden target in the portal?

That’s what I meant m. That hydraulic is death. Looks completely unassuming. Looks like you could just sit down and ride into the river like a slide…
But Bull sluice is much safer.. you can actually swim it.

The springs are clean at least, as our most of our rivers.
