I don't live in the US anymore and the only 3 games I watched this year were Kentucky, Missouri, and at Tennessee. I promised I would stop watching, so I feel like I did my part.

 

I wondered why the Houston player who tried that last shot just stood there and looked at the ball after Clayton knocked it down. Then somebody said he had to let the ball bounce. That's a rule? Then I'm sure glad of it!

 

I almost want to pinch myself. I can't believe we pulled this game out.

I asked our resident podcaster, Eric (Florida Basketball Hour), on twitter if Richard's 3 pointer looked good pregame as he was due for a game after going 0 for in the last 2 games from 3. He said "Looks Pure"

Man that turned out to be prophetic.

 

Sharp didn't get a shot off because Walter followed him out and altered his shot. That was a made play by Walter and not just an unforced misplay by Houston.

 

IIRC, he closed out from all the way underneath the basket. He recognized where the ball was going right before it got to the guy who would pass it to sharp and closed the distance by the time the ball got there. An absolutely insane rundown from the baseline to the 3 point line in like 1-2 seconds.

 

You Tube. Trust me on that.

 

This is the most team oriented team since the 04’s. And all of them were underrated coming into college. Great scouting, great coaching. Kudos all around.

 

Okay, I wan't going to post this but at halftime I realized I did not have my lucky Gator hat on. My daughter suddenly turned to me, "DAD!! Where's your HAT! I realized that's why the Gators looked so bad 1st half. I bolted and got my hat, slapped it on and then the 12 pt deficit comeback started. The board and Coach Golden can thank me later after all the celebrations!

 

He already jumped, his dribble was over. Not allowed to touch it first.

At half time a friend of mine that was at the game was worried. I told him only down three at the half is like a lead for these Gators.
