A pitcher who mixes fastballs and change-ups fools just about all of our hitters. We have experienced, GREAT hitters and they just aren't seeing pitches very well. Hope we can hang on and win this game.
Ellis intentionally walked..reminds me on last year with Jac on the baseball team..he got walked intentionally a lot Runners on 1st and 2nd 1 out
I hate to say it, but Arkansas just looks like a better team than us. Better defense for sure, better hitting team and pitching is at least equal. We are simply not playing up to our potential in all 3 phases of the game.
Arkansas’s hitting looks like what ours was supposed to be this year but as the year progresses as I’ve noticed every year our hitting drops off I just wonder what they’re getting from the hitting coaches
Notice if we throw the ball over the middle of the plate on the first pitch Arkansas swings at it while we normally never do
