Houston shooting 45% from 3 is better than most regular shot %'s.

    Better lock down the outside.

    7 pts in 13 seconds.

The 13 seconds went as follows ..

    - 3pt shot for UH
    - stollen inbounds and another score for UH
    - Houston had to foul
    - Duke missed a big front end of the 1 and 1.
    - Flag went over the back on the missed FT.
    - Houston made the 2 FT's that followed Flagg's foul.

Boom. 6 pt deficit becomes a 1 pt Houston lead.
All of that in 13 seconds.

It really was a game for the ages. I thought that our Texas Tech comeback was epic, but this was objectively even more impressive.

It will be good that we went down the path we did playing UConn and TT both teams are physical teams like Houston, should hopefully give the boys some extra confidence.

But Houston got a huge break on the Flagg foul. I wanted Duke to lose but it still didn't look like much of a foul to me.

We have played a team like Houston: UT's defense and Bama's 3 point shooting.

They will be a difficult match-up but they have to contend with Walter Clayton, Jr.

Should be an interesting game. Controlling the glass will mean controlling the tempo.

On the Flagg foul call, after the game on some of the highlights, I saw a replay of it from the other side of the court, from the side the official saw it. From there you could see Flagg with his right arm wrapping around the Houston player with his left arm trying to reach for the ball. His right arm looked like he was controlling the Houston player, affecting his positioning for the rebound. I believe the ref saw that arm wrap and called him for that, not the arm reaching for the ball that we saw in live action. It made more sense when I saw that.

Massive momentum swings in a matter of seconds in these games, including ours. Our game with Auburn could have ended very differently if they hit that baseline 3 late. Broome missing those free throws helped a lot, too.

Does Patrick Mahomes play for Houston and Josh Allen for Duke?
