Condo closes out on what looked like an up and down. However he looks like he starts his dribble just before the foot hits the ground. Anyone else see it that way?
He jumped to shoot then came back down to dribble, I didn't think it was lucky at all. Even Mazara knew it soon as he came back down
With all due respect. I can’t even believe you would post this given how many calls we got absolutely screwed on… We could have caught a total break on that play which by the way was absolutely the right call, and we still would have been about 10 or 15 calls down
He technically dribbled before he came down though. (Only by inches, but he did) That is what threw me. But Its a rare call because it rarely happens that someone jumps and then starts their dribble sequence. Good point @akaGatorhoops . That is correct, i just hadn't seen it in so long that it confused me
Brother. If we got 1 call we deserved it for the ten million calls that went their way. Entire arena was saying ref you suck. That officiating was disgusting.
My understanding is as soon as he started to dribble it was over. Once he jumped, dribbling isnt allowed, he would only have the option to pass, shoot, or just let go of the ball and let someone else touch it.
Is there a basketball rule change I'm not aware of? Last I checked, HE ISNT allowed to dribble it after gathering and jumping, period.
Its been discussed up thread. I get it. I was just thrown for a minute because it almost always happens after a dribble, but no dribble/gather sequence happened prior to the jump
