We have zero reliable inside scoring. It’s amazing we’ve gotten this far with guard play. Kudos to Clayton Jr and Co for getting us this far. We need a reliable inside scorer next year

Condon scoring under average 5 out of his last 7 games. He has 1 free throw today. This is the difference in the game. If we can't get our scorers like Condon and Richard to produce this half, it is going to be a major challenge to win.

When the Auburn player fell on top of Richard at 3-point range, why did Richard get only 2 FT instead of 3?

Their bigs are dominating ours and it has nothing to do with the refs. Our bigs simply have to play better and we have to give help when Broome gets the ball. We have no one who can guard him one on one and he's killing us underneath. They are getting easy looks at the basket and we're relying almost completely on our guards. They are sharing the ball better, working better screens and getting a lot more shots at the rim than we are.

But we got in the bonus
What you're saying is more fouls should be called on them

    He got a 1 & 1 because he wasn't shooting the ball.

Should we play Chinyelu, Condon and Haugh at the same time so we can double Broome and rotate bigs all around, and hope Martin and Clayton can keep the guards from getting wide open 3?

Last few games didn't have us behind by 8 at the half and if we were we wouldn't be in the Final Four. It's actually the 1st time all tournament we have been down at the half.

He was not in the act of shooting. Foul call was on the floor.

Way too early to panic. Some adjustments on both offense and defense and show Pearl something he hasn't coached them up for in the second half and can't address at halftime.

Edit: Auburn was over-playing early and the kids could back-screen. I'd expect to see that in the second half.

Because they didn't call a shooting foul and instead gave a 1 and 1.

    Make Broome guard guard Chinyelu!
He needs more touches on offense.

Poor half. Gotta play pretty much a perfect second half

With his 14 points so far, Clayton (1315) passes Andrew DeClercq (1309), Patric Young (1307) and Greg Stolt (1303) for #27 in Florida scoring history.
Clayton also ties both of Lee Humphrey's seasons (2005-06) & (2006-07) with 113 treys made.

Be awesome if we didn’t lead every game in the turnover stat. Sigh.

They are going to have to keep them around 30 to 35 points this half....defense going to have to show up.

Scored 48 on them at AU the first time and were up 10 at half. Down 8 only scoring 34 this time. Big swing. Have to have a great opening 3-5 minutes and tie it or get the lead. It's within reach just need to play better.

Biggest difference is they hit 5 more FGs than us. 3s and FTs are pretty even. Also a poor showing of assists, our usual strength. Only 3 for us and 6 for them.

I don't even think we need to play perfect. Just get rebounds and play tougher D. Hack Broome down there. Make him work for every point.
