To be fair, the excluded nations of Russia, NK, Iran, etc - are already under tons of sanctions, but since we're putting tariffs on imports from penguins, it seems we could have at least put equally symbolic, idiotic tariffs on those nations, too. Seems excluding them sends more of a message, regardless of efficacy.

 

Hope so, but he is most likely going to double down instead.

He’ll do it by framing it as a win. Some will believe that he won,whatever it is that he says he win, because he’s the self-described greatest negotiator. Some will reject his “win” because. But I cannot imagine he maintains such a colossally destructive course of action for any length of time.

They added tariffs for Venezuela who are also already under sanctions

Probably because I've been a good boy this year, the company I own the most stock in, Ford Motor, is up today. And has been up all week.


They announced employee pricing to counter tariffs, maybe that's it.
