First time since 2008 and only second time in history all 4 #1 teams made the Final Four. If it is not the most loaded, it is tied with only one other.

And in 2008, the 4th overall #1 seed won it all. Here’s to history repeating itself

Oh he is going to play. We will see if he’s effective.

I’ll go one more step: Broome will be effective. The question is HOW effective? He’s a tough man, and resolute. Like we see Alex’s ankle changed his game / effectiveness, Broome may be slightly reduced which, as a percentage of what the team places on him to do, may alter many other people’s games as well.

He was in a lot of pain and favoring the arm when he came back, indicating that the damage might be severe. The treatment for a dislocated elbow is immobilization. If he plays on Saturday how effective is going to be playing with what is essentially a cast on one arm? I would rather face Auburn at full strength, but since we are also hampered with Condo's injury I'll take what has been dealt us!

There's news out in the last couple of hours that Broome said he's "100%" with "no limitations."

I don't know if that means he's got no pain or discomfort or if just it means there are no limits on his minutes or what he can do on the floor.

Importantly, he is a left-handed shooter, and the injury is to his right arm. So, even if he's got some discomfort or stiffness in that arm, it shouldn't affect his shooting very much.

Today was the first day that he practiced this week.

Hopefully Condon will be inspired to have another excellent game like he did at Auburn.

I’ll believe that when I see it. Dude rolled his ankle, hyperextended his knee and elbow. Plus injured his twice already dislocated shoulder all in 1 game. He may play, but he isn’t 100%

Definitely looked bad, but he came back in a played the same day. I think he’ll be pretty effective either way.

With mucho respect to all..and thx for the info..
When anyone plays a top team..Nobody plays a complete game.
Spurrier blasted Ut at home with 62 points I believe. Complete game,? Hardly. We took everything UT had in the first half and then got even in the second half.
We beat FSU for a NC but we were even at half.
    97? FSU
Outplayed us most of the game. We all know how that finished.
Can we do better? Yes. A great team doesn't excel in every phase.
69 Gators Houston. We scored 69 and still gave up 34. Half the uf boards would scream for Napier's head ..Again..when we give up 34.
Winning is what sets the tone. Nothing else.
    Texas tech agrees

    Indeed ..
We have had game days at UF where our fans were even more loaded.
    Agreed.

The biggest reason why is TURNOVERS. Get our turnovers under control and we’re a different team. If we can win the turnover battle and box out we should be fine

Yep. That starts with Walt. Skip passes getting picked off have become a trend.

    Here's what we need:
Walter Clayton Jr - Be Walter Clayton Jr.

Will Richard - Has always been a streaky 3 point shooter. If he is on, take the shot. If he is not, drive to the hoop. He can be really good around the basket and can draw some fouls from Auburn. Be a pest on defense.

Alijah Martin - Less streaky than Will Richards, but the same general strengths. Keep the defensive pressure on, hit open 3s and make them defend you at the rim.

Alex Condon - His best games have all come with a strong 2nd half. Do your best at not getting backed down, grab rebounds, run the floor and be the Aussie King in the second half.

Rueben Chinyelu - We should try to put him on Broome in the post. He is just harder to knock backwards. Don't give up cheap fouls. He has been pretty good scoring from close in, except for Texas Tech. Use your jump hook and that soft touch. Grab rebounds.

Thomas Haugh - Just keep on keeping on. Sees the floor better than anyone else. If 3s are falling, take them. Can also create his own shot and pass out to the open 3. A couple of those amazing rebound pass combos would be good too.

Denzel Aberdeen - Be a pest on defense. Get lost in the corner and then take the open 3. Be lucky with your shooting. It has worked for you all year

Micah Handlogten - Scoop up those offensive rebounds and put them in. Block shots.

In general - Hitting FTs like we did against TT would really help. Find the hot hand and feed it. Force Broome to defend. Don't give up open 3s. Avoid throwing the ball away. Alley oops look good on Sports Center but missing them does not.

See that's all they have to do. Simple. Easy as pie.

Hey, we all want our marvelous Gators to win!
Auburn and perhaps Duke / Houston will have something to say about what UF does.

We all want our guys to play a perfect (or should I say complete) game, but the last time I witnessed such a thing was Villanova beating Georgetown.
That's about as close as I have seen that standard met.

Final Four games more often than not turn into rock fights with intense defense and physicality.

I could care less if it's pretty or complete, just WIN baby!

Especially Saturday night. We manhandled Auburn. They're going to come out swinging. We will respond. How the refs call the game will make a huge difference.

It would be a darn shame if Martin or Chin "accidentally" jammed Broome's elbow early.
    That would bum me out..............

He didn't seem terribly impacted when he knocked down that 3 after he returned from injury. My guess is he'll be as effective as he usually is.
