According to OP, "President Donald Trump signed an executive order Thursday aimed at undoing many of the changes made during the racial reckoning movement..." Is that what you mean?
I asked you what voting bloc you were referring to in your post (which, presumably, you did write). Your response was that article, with the implication being that you were referring to black people. So it would appear that you are classifying people by race.
So, let me get this straight. Trump wants to bring back monuments to the Confederacy. You want to end Juneteenth as a federal holiday. And then you get upset that anyone mentions slavery?
I don't mind slavery being discussed. It was part of world and American history. I have a problem with democrats pushing slavery topics 150+ years after the fact as a means of keeping their most reliable voting bloc in line.
I'm comfortable talking about race but it seems like people on your side want to pass themselves off as color-blind when that is the furthest thing from the truth.
From the article I posted: "Democratic presidential candidates have received an average of nearly 90% of the Black vote for more than five decades." It pretty obvious the democrats know exactly what to say.
Wait, first you wanted to say that liberals constantly classified people by race, implying that this was unlike yourself, and now you want to claim that they are pretending to not classify people by race?
I thought it was obvious. Of course they're being manipulated. If 90% of white people voted for MAGA for 50 years, would you say they're being manipulated?
Not exactly. Liberals constantly classify people by race why crowing about how anti-racist they are. Liberals actually want to treat people by race.....that's pretty durn racist.
These are the types of rhetorical knots that are required when arguing against being anti-racist (essentially, trying to be anti-anti-racist). You are claiming that people are classifying people by race...by being anti-racist, which is somehow racist.
I'm just saying the same rules apply to everyone. Whether you're in the KKK or the democrat party, if you treat people by race, it's racist.
Do you think Democrats get the majority of the black vote because they keep bringing up slavery, or do you think it could be more issue-driven?
