They had 22 points off our turnovers. We had 5 off theirs. That’s +17 for them. If we can keep our turnovers down we’re a different team. Luckily it hasn’t taken us down yet but we really need to take better care of the ball next game

That’s why they play a 7-game series in pro sports, the best team can lose 3 games and still win. In the NCAAT upsets happen, that’s the nature of single-elimination

We made literally every winning play the last 3 minutes and they didn’t. The moment was too big for them, whereas the Gators Boys shined under the bright lights

I love that kid. He is the image of my son at that age, my graduated-from-UTn-rock-ribbed-Gator. He’s 30 now and is the same way still today.

I could watch that for a long time. In fact, I probably will.

I’m guessing we will end up seeing it as much as Mike Miller’s game winner!

I can attest to the fact that if you watch it eight or 10 times, it’s still just as good.

He never disappoints. And I think he has Tourette’s because he repeats the same point over and over again.

18-4 close to the game. It’s almost like we said ok how much can we spot you and until how late before we decide to turn it on

I like a series as by game 5 , all the tweaks have been made and it's strength on strength by then.

He is playing hurt, tough young man who is still scratching the surface of being a big that can score consistently.
Another year year of learning different moves/shots, working to make threes more consistent, the pros, if he makes more gains next year, he will be a first round pick. We are lucky he is still giving us minutes, rebounds with good hands and assists.

You know youre parenting correctly (albeit minute by minute some days) when you go play basketball with your young boys and instead of shooting and yelling "Steph Curry" when they shoot they yell "Walter Clayton"...it brought a tear to this Gators eye and an "atta boy". Life is good!

Our Gators looked unstoppable in the SEC Tournament. Unfortunately, it seems as if they are playing without that same fire in NCAA.

After watching Duke dispose Alabama and the level of their virtuosity, we got our hands full. I think we beat Auburn, but unless we play beyond our current level of play and with heart, we will not walk away with the championship. But we still have a chance!

Saying “the score” defines ‘the better team’ is reductive. If it does, then it is impossible for ‘the worse team’ to ever win - ie, we lost to Georgia this year so by definition, they are the better team? No, sometimes a better team loses

Sports is not binary and breaks or outlying statistical performances occur. They had 2 over 70% FT shooters miss and Clayton/haugh drained clutch threes. There is no certainty that this gets repeated if you run the last 4 minutes 100 times.

If we played TT 10 times we’d know more absolutely who ‘the better team was.’ Absent that we have 1 data point and folks can reasonably disagree.

But the W is the only thing that matters! TT fans can bask in saying they are better while we prepare for the final four.
