Disagree. I think we're playing well and hard. TT has the refs and a lot of lucky prayers going in. We're wearing them down big time and have the lead. These games aren't supposed to be easy.

 

As soon as we get a 5 point lead..tweet foul on the Gators

Sort of feels like the Maryland game

 

The refs always let them play in the first half in every tourny game ive seen. Second half they'll start calling more fouls. Just please get some action to the rim for our guards or condon

 

I’m more concerned about the fouls they’re NOT calling on TT. They should be in serious foul trouble but aren’t

 

Kenny the Jet just said Tech will have to shoot 45% from long distance to beat us. They're currently at 44%.

 

Clayton like...take away my shot? I'll get my points another way.

 

Clayton has been off shooting 3's last two games, needs to pick it up, however he is driving to the hoop and that has been effective. Still, we are going to need some 3's and limit theirs. Right now TT is playing way over their heads with 3's which hopefully won't happen in second half.
TT is extending a lot of energy defending us, which may help us in the second half.

 

Walter’s streak is in jeopardy. Not that it matters if we win. His drives have kept us in the game

I agree..it just seems that refs start calling more fouls on us when we start getting ahead..almost like to help the other team catch up..we rarely get that kind of help

 

TT doing a great job keeping their players fresh by multiple substitutions. I am not sure that their game lends itself to that however. They seem to be more effective in a circle the wagon and limit the players format.

 

Fully agree. I mean, you always get some of that when you're playing a smaller team crashing the boards, but the non-calls, especially with the pushes in the lower back, have been mind blowing.

I hope Golden drives that home before the start of the half.

 

Richard, Clayton, and Martin zero 3s and we are up by 3.

 

He will get at least 3 in the second half. He was kinda like this vs Uconn and Maryland.

The Defense is keying on him and putting a lot of pressure on him.

 

They have taken 6 more shots than us. We need to stop them from second chance points. Also, we’ve done well with turnovers, only 5. But they have 10 points off those turnovers. Thats crazy. I do feel like we will start wearing them down, and slowly start pulling away.

 

He has been the most consistent player for UF in this tourney. IMO he is our mvp.
