We are still a pretty good softball team.
What a difference Keagan makes! The entire pitching staff looks different with her as our #1.

 

That's Auburn's website. There was no ranking this week that had them in the Top 25. D1 Softball, ESPN/USA. They aren't ranked #25 this week except in their own minds.They were #23 in the D1 poll after week 5, but dropped out for Week 6 - this is week 7. They haven't been in the ESPN/USA Top 25 since week 4.

 

Way too many runners left on base again but otherwise a great game with many positives. Keagan is back and looked great!!! Korbe had two hits including a rbi double (had to feel great). Riley was part of a double play and stayed hot at the plate. I don’t think we committed an error. Jocey remains a patient team player/leader at the plate, I’m sure she’s dying to unload on a pitch. Probably some other positives I’m forgetting.

 

Impressive win today. Great to see Otis get a couple of hits and 2 RBI. I think Oxley will be more relaxed as a #2 instead of having the pressure of being the ace. Awesome to see Rothrock back in the circle. Even with the ump's miniscule strike zone, she was sharp.

Jocey is more than a Captain on the field, she is a “General”. Best catcher in D1

 

Today, Korbe looked like her All American self again. Two her FO almost went yard.

I kinda doubt the AU SID is just randomly making something up. They had them at #23 the previous week. I'm sure they are cherry picking polls like everyone does.
They are still better than Missouri anyway

 

If they stay above .500 they will easily make the NCAA. RPI is at #9. No conference even comes close to the last place team having those metrics.

 

Nice defense also early in the game!
