How is this BS with the catcher allowed? It's circumventing the pitch clock plus she gets to talk to her every time without calling time put. It's a deliberate delay of game and allows them time to talk without penalty.

 

I would think the Ump will put a stop to running out every pitch.

Yep. It is the yips. With nobody on she walks a few feet toward the pitcher...takes a breath...and tosses underhand. With runners on she doesn't even chance that...walks it all the way back to the circle. You can't stop it. There isn't a rule against it.
