Hopefully the gators are able to bounce back. Would like to see better at bats (would not mind moving around the lineup) and more fire from the team, it seemed like these games out of conference the team has just been going through the motions. Like some have said, anything less than a sweep is disappointing which I have to agree with. Auburn is hungry for an SEC win and with our loss, I think they smell blood in the water. I would not be surprised if Auburn is able to take one from us tbh. With Red starting Wednesday, maybe Keagan is back? But also maybe walton wanted all pitchers to get the rust off after the week long break.
I agree on a lineup change. Hoping CTW might consider Falby, Comia, Taylor, Jocey, Mia, etc. The UCF game was an enigma, and I can only equate it to what I would expect if they had been partying the night before. Time to pull up the boot straps and Gator Chomp the Tigers! Hoping the Sunday weather forecast for Alabama doesn’t screw up game three.
If you are driving up -- there are many radar cops on the state roads leading to Auburn. I'm sure the team is flying -- I wonder how far away the game has to be before they fly? I got stuck in a long line of cars behind the team bus after the UCF game driving up I-75. The bus drives SLOW in the LEFT LANE -- lol. Took awhile to work my way to the front of the line and pass on the right like everyone else.
I don't know, but if they're flying to Auburn they're flying everywhere else in league play as it's the geographically closest SEC school to Gainesville. Makes the de-emphasis of the UF/AU football rivalry by the SEC all the more outrageous to me.
What do people think of Auburn's husband/wife co-head coach setup? Does it seem really weird to anyone else? Auburn names Chris and Kate Malveaux Co-Head Softball Coaches - Auburn Tigers - Official Athletics Website
