Are you rooting for the SEC?

No, the SEC has never had 3 teams in the Final 4 in the same year. 2 several times.

 

Very good odds to get 3 in this year and 4 possible although not nearly as likely!

 

SEC team in all 4 region finals, in basketball, that’s strong.

 

It's to our advantage that we are playing the first game of the Elite 8. If we were the last piece of the puzzle to complete a Final Four SEC monopoly, we'd be getting whistled for looking at the other team. I would not want to be Auburn going up against the man, the myth, the legend, the last desperate Big 10 survivor Tom Izzo with Florida, Bama, and Tennessee already in. The more SEC teams get in, the more they'll crack down on the remaining SEC teams still fighting to get in. At least that's what I'm hoping.
