It was a struggle for her and it was in that 2017 super against Bama when it started. It still happened from time to time but she did get better with it jsut for one making sure to underhand it. Rylee Trilcek made an error with it her last year then continued to do so.
I dunno. Radar guns can be unreliable - especially if they haven't been calibrated recently. I've heard of pitches reaching 73-74 mph, but 78 seems to be quite a leap. I see no mention of the gun's accuracy check.
I'm pretty sure that Monica Abbott has the record for the fastest pitch ever thrown in a women's softball game at 77 mph. She was a grown woman throwing in National Pro Fastpitch game. Supposedly, Pickens from Tennessee was clocked at 76 in last year's WCWS and Canady routinely gets over 70 mph.
77 was the all time record now it’s just the NPF record. FYI I watched the 78 mph pitch, fast but completely wild, sailed about 8 feet high lol.
UCF game last night. Just my opinion. We were behind before the bus got to the turnpike at Wildwood. Our offensive skills and emotion missed the bus.
If Rothrock doesn't pitch this weekend then there is a major injury going on. Just a week ago i thing CTW said she was like 90% yet we keep taking these losses. I sure hope it's something that gets her back soon but for something that coach said was not a serious thing, it sure feels pretty serious to me....kurland missed less time with a dislocated shoulder. If there's no Rothrock at all this weekend, even in relief, then I'm pressing the panic button.

UF slumped in the middle of the SEC season and then bounced back to finish 3rd in the nation. It's way too early to throw in the towel on the season.
They were definitely listless and I’m not making excuses but for all we know it could be something as simple as a bug going around the locker room, definitely one going around my house rn. Little dude missed school all last week and now mama has it. Hopefully I don’t get it, can’t have both adults down at the same time lol.
I know the videos going around now show it as a good pitch but I was watching live and the pitch they claimed was the fastest did, in fact, sail way above the catcher's head and hit the backstop. I think whoever is making the video is taking editorial license to make the pitch better than the truth.
