Kenza was a really high ceiling player who was stunted by injuries. She came to Gainesville and didn’t get a lot of minutes her first year due to several factors but she stayed after practice a ton to work with coach rhyne and just wanted to get BETTER. She still does boneheaded things sometimes but I am beyond happy for her to have a moment like this at end of her college career because she really has worked her ass off.
it looked like some games if she did something wrong early she would let it affect her for the rest of the half or the entire game in some cases. You can tell she is raw especially when she ran the point, it seemed to quick for her. She is much more relaxed at the 2 and honestly the last month of the season her defense really picked up where she wasnt a liabilty. She didnt get any run really at UM and that didnt help her development any before she came to UF.
with portal opening I see a few young ladies we were in the top 2 or 3 for on the list already. Hopefully we can get 3 young ladies or so from the portal to help bulk up the depth compared to this years team.
