Forgetting everything else and I agree with you about the OVB but damn if his hands weren’t a couple feet above the rim using that as a measure point. That was the tallest jump I’ve seen in the tourney yet. Was insane the air he got. But yeah, but the non call was stupid.

also can’t find the post but someone was saying about us being an underdog but we’re -5.5 against the Terps and if I were a betting man, which I am, I would bet on the Gators covering but never when we’re favored. I don’t want anything disrupting my happiness if we win by 3.

You have to have both feet firmly planted in order to establish defensive positioning. Richard--lying flat on the floor--could not do this. Clear lack of fundamentals.

 

FWIW, I was watching a YouTube podcast an hour or so ago. Three dudes. All were very familiar with UConn, and one was a rabid fan. They agreed that UConn brought their A-game to this one but it still wasn't enough.
I think those of us that follow the Gators feel that we brought our C- game. But it was still just enough.
I want to see our A-game from here on.

 

Who coached that guy? Probably one of our forum members that thought they’d found a hack.

 

Same on a uconn reddit thread. Consensus is they played their best game but didn’t hit enough shots.
