first one to openly go after DT for th grifting going on all around us. Is the author correct and MAGA will crack over the corruption and graft taking place daily?dems desperately need some fresh blood to step forward because the crop they had isn't connecting with the voters.

letting Bernie and AOC be the predominant face of opposition is another major political blunder by the dems.

U.S. Senator Slams Trump "Royal Family" Grift and Hunter Biden's Lazy Corruption

Ossoff, the 38-year-old rising star in a critical swing state, thinks American citizens should be unhappy with the chaos and the destruction of norms pursued by the Trump administration. Chaos is bad, he asserts, but the senator is more acutely emphasizing what he openly calls the Trump “corruption.”

Like other Democrats, Ossoff is betting that corruption is the line in the sand, a third rail — the one thing even rank-and-file MAGA adherents won’t tolerate. After all, MAGA’s animating force is an abiding suspicion of the “deep state” — specifically because of what they see as its inherent corruption.

“On top of the chaos, you have the corruption,” Ossoff told the crowd. “It was just reported that dinner with the President at Mar-a-Lago is on sale for just $5 million. The whole family is cashing in. Don Jr. is setting up a new business empire. Jared's investment firm got $2 billion from the Saudi Royal family. Like, Hunter Biden should've been more ambitious.”

"but Trump" worked well in 2024. And he's not even running in '28. Maybe he should start telling Americans what changes the dems are making to win back votes.

He’s got youth on his side. That might be appealing to some. Unfortunately, Ossoff’s “ideas” are mainstream DNC policy. To me, he doesn’t stand out as having any policy or ideas that are unique or specific to tackling the main issues that confront the middle class.

First, he should talk about preparing for the future where jobs look nothing like they do today. The middle class is going to be squeezed by technology advances and changes to the global economy.

Second, he should just lay out the Dem plan to pull the economy out of the recession that Trump will cause. Just assume it will happen and how he would fix it for long term prosperity.

If he wants to make an impact, he should talk about how local politics and decisions are going to be more important to voters over the next 30 years. Governors might be more powerful than ever. He should consider a run for GA governor before he dips into some “higher office”.

OT: A Trump (Don Jr + Sr) could the ticket in ‘28. Regardless, Dems need to focus on how they are an economic and kitchen table security alternative. Trump’s admin is literally saying they are trying to rebalance the economy and if a recession happens, so be it. Believe what they say.

Trump is destroying the economy to the point that the Democrats will not have to do much to win back votes. George W. Bush was term-limited in 2008 and even though he was only partially responsible for economic disaster of 2008 he was responsible for Barack Obama's victory almost as much as Trump will be for the victory of the Democratic candidate in 2028. My guess is that it will probably be a moderate Democratic governor like Josh Shapiro, Andy Beshear, Gretchen Whitmer or Wes Moore although I wouldn't count out Pete Buttigieg or Gavin Newsom.

heck yeah, about as real as a guy can get. I want some real people that are not hindered by politcal correctness and have been succesful at overcoming adversity regardless of what field they moved through.
