Safir is already getting promoted. Hovde has been the mastermind behind the offense, so he will be a little harder to replace. Someone with connections to that Bennett tree, but needs to embrace multiple bigs and tempo.

 

I said it already on here a couple times but just be glad the Cal "move" happened this year. If UK had done anything but make the final four after so many disappointments and UF was having the year its having this year, you can bet Cal would have been canned and there would have been a full court push on Golden to prevent another Donovan situation popping up in their backyard.

Even now, Florida needs to move on extending and expanding Golden's contract and make sure his NIL pool is well funded from the Florida Victorious side. Make sure the love and welcome from gator nation is fully appreciated by him and his family, because who knows how long Hubert Davis has left at North Carolina at this point. Google him and the top result isn't his name, its his name + fired.

 

Assistant coach replacement will proceed successfully. Not a concern. Golden knows what he wants.

It’s a direct reflection of the HC & program, when your assistant coaches are getting hired away for HC jobs. Congratulations to both.
