Are we playing true Maryland crabs - or the fake imitations they serve around Baltimore these days?

I think we can contain their bigs by running them ragged plus they're guards don't look like they penetrate exceptionally well.

Maryland’s head coach just complained this week that their administration would not let them stay one extra night in New York earlier this year because it was too expensive. They are not staying on the West Coast this whole week.

 

Our big guys need to step up in these next couple weeks. Our guards have always carried us, but toward the end of the season it was arguable that the bigs were out playing the guards. We need that relentless hand-on-every-single-loose-ball effort we’ve seen so many times this season.

 

Great bigs, great point guard, play both ends well, but play at a much faster pace than they should given their lack of depth. The faster the tempo, the better for us.

 

As long as we get the same number of steps going to the basket we'll be okay.
