Yeah, and Alabama has it easier with St. Marys as a 7 seed than we did with UConn as an 8. But, whatever, we should have been the #1 or #2 overall seed based on our end of year resume, but they apparently don't count the SEC Tournament.
Looks like SEC is likely going to have at least 6 teams in the Sweet 16. - Florida, Auburn, Alabama, Tennesse, Kentucky and Arkansas. Maybe 7 if Ole Miss can pull off the upset against ISU.
I just realized, there hasn't been a single buzzer beater this entire tournament. Seems like teams with the lead with under a minute left to play keep holding on.
Weird, but rooting for Kentucky since the winner gets the Vols and KY has beaten the Vols twice this year already. Vols have never made a final 4. Would like it to stay that way for another year.
Thought one of the play-in games was a buzzer beater. But who in the hell counts those? I didn’t on my bracket
What? Both of these teams are capable of beating us. Especially Maryland’s front court. Not sure how you get crummy…
I'm watching too...CSU is a dirty team, particularly#10 Nique Clifford. Purposely elbowed Maryland player in the head & was not called for it...refs missed it badly. I think we definitely match up better with CSU. Our frontcourt would destroy theirs.
CSU had a good lead in the first half, but MD battled back. CSU up 4 with 7min remaining. I wonder if @docspor has a rooting interest here.
