he literally lowered his shoulder into him....first they fouled Haugh and then an offensive charge on that play. Instead of 2 fouls they got 4 points

 

That game aged me 10 years. Screw UCONN and the commentators' love for them. I nearly threw up they way they gushed over them.

 

yep, they're still UConn. We had to beat all their ghosts too

 

and yet we still won, how’d that happen??

UConn weren’t going to roll over and die.

Felt like we had a bunch of bonehead plays that just can’t happen, but UConn would be thinking if they’d shot better in the 1st half they could have built a 10+ point lead easily. So it was one of those games both teams battled but weren’t fully 100% on their A game.

At the end of the day survive and advance. We survived because a couple of bounces finally went the Gators way (seemed like 35 minutes of every crazy play going against us) and Clayton just hit a couple of mega clutch 3’s in the last couple minutes.

 

They didn’t show mcneeley’s mom enough. I only got to see her 50 times.

Yes. The way this game went has to hurt - exactly what I wanted but it wasn't good for heart health. We still owe them a beat down someday.

Hopefully we will keep advancing and could very easily face Michigan State in the final four which is another program that has plagued as Connecticut has. This could be our tournament of redemption.
