They have a very different roster than us. Only one recruited player in their starting 9. The other 8 are transfers. Nadeau been good. Other transfers to this point not so much. Ty up and down all his career so not surprising what we have seen this year.
If we hit the ball we’d be ok. Georgia’s pitching is average at best. If Barlow gives us 5 and gives us 6 or less he has done his job against this line up.
Curley is a dude. You can tell how pumped up he is for this game and he’s pitching a heck of a game. Definitely has benefited from Coach Johnson’s tutelage. Hoping things change soon.
Shelton is a transfer, Boser is a transfer, Cyr is a transfer, Stripling is a transfer, Donay is a transfer, Nadeau is a transfer, Jones who would be starting in CF is a transfer. All were rated highly and performed well at their previous stop except maybe Stripling
He’s been absolutely filthy and making us look really bad. I mean he does bury his pace, but it’s nothing earth shattering… We have two or three guys in the lineup that should be sitting on slider/curveball nonstop and what they are doing right now is watching the first two come over strikes and then get in that O2 count
Filthy. Maybe our only hope is to get him out of the game and get someone else in as far as approach goes we have three guys in the lineup right now that should do nothing but sit on curveball/slider and that’s absolutely not the approach that I want, agree with or have ever thought is good. But, until these guys start hitting sliders right over the middle of the plate, they will keep seeing them
Gotcha, as a closer he’s been messing with his timing a lot. He’ll come to a full stop mid-windup then unleash 100 mph. I imagine he hasn’t hit triple digits yet today because he’s starting?
