Interesting that there were no minutes for Alexis. I guess he is not ready for prime time yet.

 

They outscored us by 6 points over the last 25 or so minutes. If not for our early blitz we could've lost this.

 

Lol, is this a serious post? Florida stopped playing after they got up 32. We could have won by 50 if we really wanted to.

Definitely not our best game but good to get our 1st tournament win and get our feet wet...I hope these guys that haven't been to the NCAAT see what the one and done intensity is like. We have to take much care of the basketball on Sunday.

 

Yes, semi-serious. Anyone can be beat at this stage.

 

I think this team just needs to survive the first few rounds and they will get better and better as tournament goes on.

I want Oklahoma to Beat UCONN. Huskies have won the last 2 national titles and while I know none of those players are still around and they've had a fairly avergae season, their coach is great and they have a championship culture. I know that if our guys come out focuased and playing hard we win Sunday, but I want no doubt about getting to the Sweet 16.

Hoping we get good Richard on Sunday. If he is on from 3, we are near impossible to stop.

 

there was zero chance we would have lost this...we knew early on that we completely outmanned them. That said, we played like crap from 3 mins left in the 1st and most of the 2nd half. Complacency and didn't match their energy. It happens. We better bring it for 40 minutes the next game. this is one and done after all - no tomorrows if we lose

 

Feels like the entire team took a lot of unnecessarily long threes. They all count the same.

 

I just ran into Isaiah Brown’s dad. I told him that dunk was nice. He laughed and said he taught him that lol

 

Neither of those teams worry me nearly as much as Maryland. They look legit. Queen is a monster and we don't have anyone that can really match up with him one on one defensively.
