    Somewhere in Time
Apparently Trump's drunk lackey at the Pentagon decided to name the new US air force fighter the F-47 in honor of Trump in return for his "totally non-DEI" hiring.

As the last fighter aircraft with that number was the P-47 "Thunderbolt", a large, ungainly, frankly FAT, fighter correctly nicknamed the "Jug" which specialized in ground attack during the Second World War, I think the numbering fits perfectly!

Of course the famous A-10 was later named for this ground attack role and called the "Thunderbolt II" and nicknamed "Warthog", so we can use those names, we just need to change.... something.... oh... OH... OHMYYYYYY! EUREKA!

HENCEFORTH, this new fighter, a marvel of the MAGA (bowel) movement, shall be called...

    "Thunderdolt II"

...in Trump's honor for his second term.

We can nickname it the "Jughead" or "King Warthog", a nickname that honors our immense Porculine Orange Swine majesty!

May his diapers be as full as his head is empty!!!

Well it’s bound to be a financial catastrophe that doesn’t work, so seems like a fitting tribute.

Hope Boeing has figured out that whole bolting the metal pieces together problem by the time the Thunder-dolt takes flight.

So in a time where we are so worried about government spending we are shuttering social welfare and education programs left and right, this admin has the absolute gall to announce a 6th generation fighter brought to you by the manufacturer that can barely keep passenger planes in one piece…

    lol ok.

Ps they are 300 mil per plane. The SBA just cut 43 percent of their staff which is like nearly 3000 people and they will save the taxpayer 450 million next year. So hooray. We sacrificed a whole shitload of civil servants for 1.5 Boeing planes.

Market seems to have shrugged off the EU budget allocation news and the US defense contractor indices. This is another economy circulation and American job program.

That Boeing won this contract is the shocker for a number of reasons.

Let's be real here. These things are in the works for a while. Thus, this is as much Biden's plane as Trump's, if not more, as the first real talk of this came under Biden. I remember watching videos about it 3 years ago.

Biden wasn’t “cutting spending” so who would care? I’m sure republicans would have been complaining.

Yep and they seem to think that saving money and cutting means don’t spend any money.

BDS knows no limits, much like their inherent hypocrisy.

Wait, you mean to tell me something isn't waste just because somebody said it was? Hmm...

Billions in spending to Boeing, a company that even Trump has called out recently for being dysfunctional, And it’s not wasteful in any way? Just perfectly fine no questions asked? You think this will somehow have less waste involved than the f35? Which yeah I’m pro military spending - but cmon. I don’t care who is president if we are spending more and more there while cutting support for our actual people that’s a problem. It’s just funny to me that there is not a peep from the government spending crowd when this is going to cost way way way way more than doge could ever cut with this efficiency horse crap.

Looks like we will need to cut some more programs with millions in spending (that has already been spent) and call it billions saved. That will pay for it, right?
