They are welcome to go back to their country. They are here illegally or did you forget that.

It also keeps immigrants who are here legally (have a green card) from voting as well.

Those were the only people eligible to vote under the law, it didnt allow illegal immigrants or straight up non-resident non-citizens to vote (and it only applies to local elections)

Yes I read it. The law would allow green card holders the right to vote. They are still noncitizens. They are only allowed into this country to work. They are not here to be citizens and can still vote in their own countries. They don’t have the right to vote for their own interests. Otherwise they would vote for a candidate to expand the rights of noncitizens. Where does that end? 800,000 noncitizens can easily sway the outcome of an election.

Why did you post about illegal immigrants if you read it? Just being dishonest on purpose? Ignorance can be excused, seems like its worse if you just make up stuff knowing its wrong.

Question: are green card holders legal or illegal residents?

Omg. Chain me. Cuff me. Beat me. I know liberals like that.

it is still the same. A noncitizen doesn’t have the right to vote. Regardless if they have a green card. The entered the country. They knew the laws. They are welcome to go back to their own country.

Wow, that was a window right into your soul right there.

So you don't know what an illegal immigrant is and just say all immigrants are because there are limitations as to what they can do compared to citizens?

Only problem with that narrative is that law that would have allowed noncitizens to vote applied to those in the US legally. By the way you think that noncitizens with green cards should be exempt from taxation?
