They deserve it for firing Keatts a year after a Final Four run and an ACC title. Keatts is a good guy and a good coach. I'm a big fan after what he did here at UNCW. He had a terrible season in a terrible conference. I get it. But, hey they are easily my favorite team of the 3 annoying fanbases we deal with. So maybe they make things harder on the two blue bloods.
IIRC, he was just caught on tape talking about paying players. I don’t think he was wrapped up in the bribery scheme, and I think only a couple guys actually wound up with jail time a few others with probation.
Maybe he is going to get a strong-ass offer. Probably just going to get a "get-out-of-jail" card in that he won't be fired for cause. 'Cause, he is DAMN BAD when he has to play by everyone else's rules.
