If she wants it it isn't rape. Maybe you haven't been in that position. Whether you grab her in public or private doesn't seem all that relevant to me.

Well, I think all people have been in the position to rape other people. Most of us just don't. There is a pretty simple way to solve this dilemma: treat women like actual people and ask them rather than jamming your fingers or penis into her vagina because you felt like it.

In many jurisdictions like NYC or DC someone like Trump could never get a fair trial. In those situations due process demands a change of venue.

Wow, so Trump's defense team isn't allowed to strike jurors in those locales? It really is a shame that he raped somebody in NYC, making that the jurisdiction.

Newsflash: Some states are actually, seriously, trying to make TDS a legal medical disorder. Oh. please make it so. But why stop there? Make "GROOMING" a mental disorder and while they're at it make being a transgender (or advocating for its normalcy that should be taught in schools a such) one too.

I’ll bet he has more than 2-3. He probably has a whole wall of them somewhere in his house. Like the stalkers have in movies and tv.

If 80-90 percent of potential jurors hate someone a few jury strikes won't get that person a fair trial.

Hmmm...what if 40% love him and 60% hate him. Will that person get a "fair trial" then? Which group is likely to give him a fair trial? What if you have more than "a few" jury strikes?

Also, I would be willing to bet that you are far overestimating the interest of most people in politics with the 80-90%.

Don't you have a lot of pictures of that? Isn't that something that you're proud of?

If you can’t be proud of people beating police in a riot incited by your political hero, as part of his criminal conspiracy to overturn an election ...... well then what can ya be proud of?!

You are proud of that, aren't you? It was a great and patriotic moment in American history! And you support it with your vote. :)

Do you think only 60% of potential jurors hate Trump in DC? If everyone could get a fair trial in every jurisdiction there would be no need to have a change of venue for any case.

Another problem is potential jurors often lie and claim they will be impartial when that is not the case.

I was actually asking a hypothetical. But he was found liable for rape in New York, not DC. As far as I know, he hasn't been accused of raping somebody in DC. According to a jury, he did rape somebody in NYC.

And where do you assume he would get a "fair trial?" Does somebody have to support him to be "fair?" Or is a supporter not fair too? Do you need to find a jurisdiction in which people don't know who he is?

What you mean by a fair trial is a trial that ignores the evidence and finds him innocent.

I mentioned DC because DC juries are said to be the most biased in America. I think in Manhattan a jury would probably end up with at least 9-10 Trump haters. 1-2 neutral. 1 or 2 who like Trump.

With competent attorneys who knew how to vet a jury with questionnaires, checking out their social media and what newspapers and magazines a potential jurors subscribed to, a county split roughly 50-50 between Republicans and Democrats could seat a fair jury. Doesn't mean the judge would be fair though.

But why would that be? Are you stating that supporters are less biased? Why would a group of 6 supporters be more fair than 1 or 2 if both are biased?

So is the argument here that the Proud Boy's lawyers are a bunch of buffoons who don't know basic jury selection procedures or that their supporters are and can be easily fooled by random Twitter accounts?
