After earning the double bye before dispatching both Missouri and now Alabama the stage is set for Sunday’s SEC Tournament Championship game with the Gators taking on a familiar foe–a Tennessee team that they have already faced off with twice. With both teams taking a win in the series this feels like a fitting end, with the team that takes the rubber match earning the title of SEC Tournament Champion in a year where the league is considered to be as strong as any league that college basketball has ever seen.

I’m pretty confident we aren’t going to be held to 13 FGs on less than 25% shooting today, but stranger things have happened I guess. Lol. We have the talent advantage, just now play our game and we’ve got this. I want 30 wins before the tournament.

The guys have to be prepared to win a low scoring game today. At least low by our standards. Defense will have to be on point today.

I think if Florida gets to 70 or more, they win. Tennessee wins with defense, if Florida hits their shots at a decent clip I like our chances.

We need to turn up our defense as well, juts like we did the 2nd half against Alabama. And with UT's pressure, we MUST limit turnovers.

Agree that it will be low scoring, primarily because UT limits possessions with their offensive pace. Such a study in contrast with Bama.

These types of teams are really rough for us (again, unlike Bama, which plays to our strengths). Not a lot of transition opportunities. Not a lot of turnovers, but a much higher percentage of our possessions. Cannot give up offensive rebounds and have to limit 3s. Trust our length to defend the rim. Conversely, have to hit the few open 3s we’ll have and keep possessions alive on the offensive glass.

Since both games, our bench has taken a major step forward. Aberdeen has a great first game, but Haugh, Handlogten, and Klavzar have given us great depth now. Gainey was terrific in that first game, but I’ll take our bench over theirs any day.

Pretty confident in this one. Just think we are on a mission. 1 seed or 2 seed doesn’t matter to me but it’s about pride. Get this dub and party on!

Love this team. They deserve the win. But I also want it for TG and our program. An important step toward a great future.

I think we will be able to execute at a much higher level today than we did in Knoxville.
