UF wins tomorrow, Duke loses, do the Gators get that #1 seed in the East?

No. Duke gets extra credit for the name on the front of the jersey.

A better question is if the Gators will jump Houston for the Indy regional.

But all counting eggs as chickens. We have to beat UT and they are a force.

 

Houston is in a battle with Arizona right now. I'd like to think a Houston loss there could open up the Midwest as well. Indianapolis might be closer to Gainesville than Newark.

 

Lol. No. That's already set. Nothing this weekend was gonna dislodge Duke, Auburn, or Houston. It was always 4-6.

I do think we end up in Indy. Sounds like Houston prefers San Fran anyway. Give me Raleigh and Indy on the Fri-Sun setup, and I will be happy as a clam. Don't love the prospect of playing Michigan State, given their tempo and defense, but that's where coaching, competitiveness, and playmaking are the difference.

#1 seed in the Mid-West!

The last two times that FLorida began in the NCAA Tourney in the Mid-West region/bracket were the 2006 & 2007 National Chompions!

Bracket was fixed on Friday night per one of the committee guys. Nothing that happened today or tomorrow will change that.
