Even if they win the sec champ tomorrow I don’t think they will get #1 overall but they should get the south bracket. Houston, Duke, Auburn the others
Lunardi updated his bracket and has Auburn still at #1 overall with us as the weakest #1 (we are the only 1 seed to have to travel to the other side of the planet). I wonder if he changes his mind if we beat Tennessee?
And KP isn't the only metric. We are still well behind them in WAB, SOR, BPI, KPI, and Torvik. They are also still ahead of us in Q1A wins (9-5 to 7-3), Q1 wins (16-5 to 10-4), and Q1-Q2 wins (22-5 v. 19-4). Our non-conference schedule has lowered our seeding ceiling.
Lunardi used to be good when it was resume-based, but he is way behind with the advanced metrics these days.
There is ZERO way we are the 4th best team in the country. Watching the Houston game now and thinking Vandy or any SEC team will beat them in the tournament.
This Houston team is nails on D. They are very Tennessee like. They will make it an ugly game with anyone.
Well we beat the spread, and the pundents, Bilas included, now know Florida wants hardware and they are coming to your house.
Definitely not intimidating UF can beat anyone just saying just because they play low scoring games doesn’t mean they are bad. Thats there wheelhouse.
We are at least number one or two in the AP poll, if not, it is not worth paying attention to Gators hater bias.
We did it. SEC Tournament: Check. NCAA Tournament: Next We were +45 for an average of +15 per games against 3 top 15 teams Nice feather in our cap, not on to the BIG DANCE
It's like these fools make up their minds 3 days before the conference tournaments end. How the hell do you watch us dismantle teams in by far the best conference in basketball and still put us 4th overall. We are at minimum #2 overall.
Do you like one of the other brackets better? I don’t think we should have been the last one seed, but I really don’t hate our draw.
