Win or lose we are no worse than being a 2 seed. It will be interesting to see how aggressive we will be towards trying to win it all. Wasn't it last year some top teams lost their first game due to lack of rest? The good news is we not only have a double bye but a deep bench. Let's win it.
Yep - last year's tourney didn't matter a damn bit for the Gators, who got "handed" a 7seed. It will be interesting to consider what the import of the SECt is to our young coach. TBH I don't really give a damn about it . . . that is, unless we run into UK or Aub.
Well Lunardi said the last #1 seed will go to the one who lasts the longest in the tourney and if all 3 lose in the 1st round give it to Mich St since they won the Big 10 and you have a conference champion from every conference (regular season champ)
I don't believe Lunardi when he says that. I suspect he doesn't really believe it, either. But the drama train's gotta get fueled, I suppose.
Plenty of people willing to ride it. I’ll just wait until Sunday and find out what’s actually going to happen.
Sory but the Sooners are still letting whoever run his lay up. Nobody even tried to look like they wanted to slow him down. I didn't even think it was possible to dribble a ball from back court inbound to the rim in 5 seconds. I don't think I could have done that with nobody on the court. Why I would rather be Oklahoma in the mix instead of UK.
Danny Ainge did it vs Notre Dame with 5 seconds left, went full court and finger rolled the winning basket at the buzzer. I hated Notre Dame that year and will always love Danny for that.
FYI: Lunardi this morning said it's likely the late game today will decide either who retains...or regains...#1 seed.....
