I think the most telling bit of this scene is that Gordon never really answers Buds question as to how much is enough, because I think even he doesn't know the answer, and that's how it is for this administration. Like the billionaire class using Trump and the Republican Party, they can't stop until there's nothing left, and they will tell you it’s for your own good or the good of the country. I’m not sure what Trump’s motivation is besides revenge against any person or country that crosses him, but for Musk he could have everything and it would not be enough for him.
