Detaining Arbery was totally legal under Georgia law at the time. People like you think the McMichaels should be in jail forever because they are white and Arbery was black. Let's not forget a neighbor of the McMichaels was convicted of murder for using his phone to record what happened. Travesty of justice imo

To my knowledge Travis McMichael wanted to detain Arbery until police arrived. Arbery attacked McMichael and grabbed at his gun and was fatally shot. Quite possible that Arbery shot himself as he pulled on the barrel of the shotgun while McMichael had his finger on the trigger

Even if the photo is showing on Arbery on the construction site and I'm not disputing its authenticity the only crime that he had committed was trespassing. Whoever was stealing material from construction sites almost certainly did so at night and probably pulled up to the site in a pickup truck or other vehicle where they put the material. If the characters responsible for killing him were actually concerned they would have contacted the police on their cell phones. They were vigilantes who were waiting for an excuse to shoot the N******. They physically restrained him when he refused to submit to their "citizens arrest" and when he resisted they shot him.

 

You sound like you have little knowledge of the case. How do you not know he was on video inside of the construction site? Did you not see the video of him charging and wrestling with the guy who 'shot' him?
