This writer gets it: Trump's idiocy with regard to Ukraine makes Joe Biden look like a genius. Opinion - Trump’s Ukraine policy makes Biden look like a genius
But reportedly RFK said Russia wasn’t allowed to divulge we were taking our missiles out of Turkey while Russia was taking their missiles out of ‘Cuber.’
Another idiotic move by Zelensky and his military with the situation in Eastern Ukraine. Wasting all those troops and equipment there just for a talking point you are taking the fight to Russia while that Donbass area is basically a done deal now while Kursk is a slaughterhouse now. Surprised western Ukranians haven't forced him out yet considering that Donbass area is mostly pro-Russian anyway.
In response to a massive attack Trump threatened increased sanctions on Russia. A day after that threat….. “Russia launched heavy aerial attacks on Ukraine for a second night Saturday after the United States stopped sharing satellite images with the Ukrainian government, officials said. At least 22 people have been killed.” This is what happens when someone appeases barbarians,” Polish President Tusk wrote on X Saturday. “More bombs, more aggression, more victims. Another tragic night in Ukraine.” https://apnews.com/article/russia-u...intelligence-3d0bad105a93933e9cdaca5cf31fcf74
Predictably the Putin cheerleaders drive by as soon as anything good happens for Russia. Weird how they had a coordinated successful assault for the first time in, like forever. I wonder why… doesn’t have anything at all with the US publicly abandoning a country we’ve been supporting for years… because why?
Trump gives putin another handy during interview. Just freaking sad the epic shift in public opinion on bad behaviors. Now get off my lawn.
No, that wasn’t a challenge from me. I really wanted to read what you were talking about. I just can’t find anything open source to that effect. Just came across this, but no real indication of how effective the Russian offensive is. Russian propaganda indicates, you know, major Ukrainian formations surrounded, significant territory falling, etc, but we’ve seen that movie too many times before. Until Russia has footage of being in Sudzha or the huge bag of prisoners, then it’s no different from Pokrovsk, Kharkiv, and so on. Just another “feint.” We will see, though. https://www.reuters.com/world/europ...aine-western-kursk-region-defence-2025-03-08/
Says the guy who has been wrong so many times in this thread he should feel too ashamed to post anymore, yet here we are.
Correct. Do you have evidence of a big successful Russian offensive, or is this just another one that’s going to inevitably happen?
12k NK troops pushed into Kursk. Even at a 10:1 mortality Ukraine can't justify the losses Ukraine considers Kursk withdrawal amid fears of encirclement of 10,000 troops, Telegraph reports is increasingly at risk of encirclement after Russian breakthroughs. Ukrainian troops speaking on the condition of anonymity told the Kyiv Independent on March 7 that Russia had destroyed their supply chains for ammunition and food and they faced encirclement. One said the breakthrough happened in the last few days.
Interesting timing for the Russian breakthrough in the wake of armaments aid and intelligence being cut off. Trump’s hell bent on making Ukraine negotiate from a weaker rather than stronger position and it appears he’s achieving his goals.
