Fanboy sunshine pumper me had a question about miss Taylor before this series began. Can she continue doing what she’s doing against high level competition and immense pressure? A resounding yes she can! Even with a noodle arm lol. The talent and skill is obvious but what is most impressive to me is her maturity, game IQ, humility and calmness. Every team in the country is going to try and poach her after this season. It’ll make the whole canady thing look silly. Can’t lose her to that. Keep her in the orange and blue.

All of this crap about Taylor's arm and Rylee's arm got me to remember something. If I have concerns about Rylee at short, and they are minimal, it isn't about her arm. Ya know who was one of the best shortstops in our era who had a truly terrible arm? But she was so good at everything else it didn't matter. She could make plays no human should make. Sis Bates.

 

Sooner off everyone realizes how insignificant they are and learns to just have fun and laugh it off, better off they’ll be. We’re all not much more than a joke in the grand scheme of things.

Yep. How many here contribute to the softball program? It is easy. All you have to do is indicate your contribution goes to the softball program and not to some other program or a general fund. I'm on a pretty tight budget in retirement but I donate every couple months to softball. I'm far, far, short of the high rollers but if everyone here just pitched in $100 every couple months it would be a big help.
