Ugly first half, but this is what Ole Miss does: ball pressure, changing defenses, takes care of the ball to maximize possessions and limit transition buckets. They are +10 in shot attempts, +8 in turnovers, +3 in offensive boards. Our defense has been great, and we are still up 7 because of good shooting from the arc. They are also 4-13 in the paint against 6-6 for us. If we can just cut the turnovers by a handful and work the ball inside, we will be in good shape.
Probably because most teams don't trust their help in the paint if you get behind them. And when we have, we have scored today: our starting guards are 4-5 inside the arc.
We're plus 9. And we basically rebounding the same percentage as them offensively (6 on 27 misses against 4 on 15 misses). We just need to take care of the ball so we can get more shots.
Idc what anyone says. Clayton has become a complete pg. These passes, drives, and shots. He can do it all now.
