With UK winning and if UF wins tonight (assuming that A&M takes care of LSU), there will be a 3 way tie for 6-8th place. I'm not sure who the 7 seed would be, but that would be who the Gators play on Friday should one of these teams win their 1st round game. I was kind of hoping to avoid UK, but perhaps it would offer the Gators extra motivation for that game should they play them again.
I love it. Just don't like Broome for some reason, so glad he didn't get to be the hero. Plus, extra motivation for us to beat Ole Miss today.
Win tonight, and that stupid Georgia loss cost us the SEC regular season title, and 1 seed in the SEC tournament. Oh well, it is what it is. Let’s just take care of business tonight Gators!
What’s worse is that some are saying it will still come down to the SECs. Hopefully the committee sees the difference between Bama winning on a buzzer beater against an Auburn team with 1s locked up in the SECs/NCAAs, and us beating both of them more soundly with a lot more on the line.
This is the exact scenario I envisioned to win the SEC except I didn't expect us to lose to Georgia. Sucks but who knows if Auburn loses to A&M if they hadn't already sewn up the SEC.
