This is eye-popping silly. Now tell us the wars and aggression started by Russia, or joined by Russia.
Whelp, there goes the intelligence sharing too. This guy really can’t be bothered to hide how in the pocket he is for Russia. Washington BANS Britain from sharing any US military intelligence with Ukraine | Daily Mail Online

During which time period? Like every European nation (in its multiple prior iterations), Russia has been a serial aggressor. It has started wars against Persia, Turkey, Poland, Italy, Finland, Byzantine, not to mention the Crusades. It joined world arms throughout the 1800s, jumping on several sides. Peter and Catherine, amongst the others, were both vigorous expansionists and aggressors. To say that Russia was this peace-loving victim of untoward violence throughout his history is just laughably disingenuous.
No one, no one can hold a candle to the military interventions that our own country has engineered since its founding and especially since the end of the Cold War.
Now, I'm really questioning your objectivity here. How on Earth do you make the case the administration is seeking to "weaken NATO" when Hegseth is over there imploring them all to up their defense spend to 5% of their GDP? If they all actually did that, at the very least, NATO would have a shit ton of weaponry. How does it weaken them?
You might mean to respond to the person I was responding to. I acknowledged the possibility, but I don’t think we will try to weaken NATO for the reasons I outlined in the post you quoted.
Not that there is anything wrong with weakening NATO as it would likely make for a more peaceful planet.
So a complete change in topic. Fine. I’ll play. Since 1990’s, off the top of my head, Russia has demonstrated its aggression in Georgia, Moldova, Chechnya, Ukraine (serially), Syria and throughout the unrest in Africa.
All US engineered color revolutions or coups except Syria where, unlike the U.S., Russia was invited.
