The best part of the speech was when Trump said "the days of rule by unelected bureaucrats is over" while Elon Musk continues to rule as an unelected bureaucrat.
Elon is different, though, because he’s filthy rich and helps contribute to Trump’s cause. Rules for thee, not for me.
Maybe I dont need to watch it: 1. Says other countries pay tariffs (I do this for a living, you pay) 2. Wildly lied about inflation and immigration figures (easily available online) 3. Claimed money is being paid to many people over 150 (not true system cuts off everyone at 115 and those over 100 being paid equal the number of people over 100) 4. Big fat lie on Ukraine funding.. made up numbers 5-35. More random lies
Long on showmanship, short on reality. He's a charismatic cheerleader if you like him, a criminally inept buffoon if you don't.

Dems have turtled. This am on all the business shows is all Pubs spinning this new trickle up economy. The media is in the tank for the pubs.
Basically all we got was rehashed personal attacks, exaggerations, self-aggrandizements, and outright lies. You know, the typical Trump speech.
I agree about your point regarding the way Dems looked last night. They just can’t get out of their own way, even when there is IMO so much to critique.
I’m not sure why, even if they wanted to do their rehearsed outrage, they didn’t wait until a time that made sense to do so. Al Green got himself removed from the House floor by the Sergeant at Arms (and will wind up getting censured by the House) for standing up and shaking his cane and screaming about … Donald Trump saying he won all seven swing states and the popular vote? Come on, at least wait to pull your skit out when Trump is talking about some policy you disagree with. And then, beyond Green’s scripted outburst, all we got were auction signs and Dems getting called out for refusing to clap for a 13 year old brain cancer survivor and a kid getting admitted to West Point.
Did they stand for Laken Riley or the girl who was brain damaged by a man during a volleyball match ?
I get that the democrats in the room wouldn't clap or support Trump, but sitting on your hands for that kid that got made an honorary secret service member or the guy who got accepted into West Point, don't understand that at all. The one funny part was when Trump said, I figured that side of the audience would have clapped for the name at least (speaking of RFK).
