Baseball at UCF, Tue 3/4/25, 6:00 pm

UCF has been very efficient
10 runs on 9 hits and 1 left on base.
They are putting on a clinic to this point.

 

Pitching is concerning me again this yr especially with Coppola injured…..we seem to end up depending on freshman and sophomores … seems we have needed to get 1-2 pitchers with experience from the portal. The guy from Clemson we did get has not impressed me so far …

 

Pitching is a concern every year—regardless of how much you have. That’s the nature of the beast.

Performance-execution-vs-health…

Consistency is the key.

 

Wonder which team will make their way to Omaha first.

 

To be fair, last year’s team was very average too. Until it wasn’t.

 

Peaks and Valleys— you have to learn how to deal with them both to get to where you want to be.

Yikes - I had something else to do and it was 3-2. Came back just now and it's 10-2. Oh well. Just regroup and beat FAU tomorrow night. Just hate losing our 6th straight o UCF!!

 

I like Yost but he barely walks and he strikes out way too much to be our leadoff hitter. His OBP is the second lowest on the team.

 

This freaking guy. How many times is he gonna get on with a dribble or little flair.

 

They should make a trophy and hang a banner.
