Fun fact. Did y’all know Emily Kennedy and Ava Brown went to high school together? College station is right down the road from Montgomery where they went to school. I see the crowd being large. Brown will Bring a lot of people wearing blue and orange to help us cheer
I was planning on making the trip to college station to cheer on the gators since I'm in Texas, but will not be able to go due to work obligations :/. However, I am hoping this will be a great series (there is a lot of good series this weekend tbh). Hopefully Keagan is healthy and ready to go. With Kennedy somewhat struggling, I think it will come down to which staff comes through. I can see these games being low scoring (2-1, 5-4) or high scoring games (13-12, 10-9). Both teams can hit, so I also think errors will play a big part and whoever takes advantage of extra baserunners wins.

I just watched that. He said she was out for the weekend, but that was last weekend. Not saying she will pitch, she could be out longer than he claimed, but I haven’t seen anything that confirms it yet.
I'm going to vent now. How Scott Stricklin got himself in the group picture celebrating CTW 1000th victory is beyond me. He had nothing to do with the hiring of TW or the ongoing success of the softball program. Put him in a group picture where in fact he hired the coach such as soccer (Amato) or women's basketball (Newbauer.) How is that working out. OK, I'm done now.

He's been the AD for 10 years, there when the stadium and facilities had a major upgrade, and has kept the coach that leads the program. If he’s not there people complain he is ignoring a milestone for coach
It's what makes being a fan great -- you aren't just watching the game and enjoying the sport. You know each player and their personal story. Given Reagan's struggles up to now, it was just awesome to see her have a breakout weekend. And the KSP crowd has been behind her all the way.
We also went nuts (as did the rest of the team) when Ava hit a walk-off moonshot!! Another slump defying hit.
Warren Nolan predicts Gators will win 2 out of 3 at A&M. Will win the first two games by one run but get their ass handed to them by 6 in game 3. I'm OK with that.
I also will be happy if we get 2 of 3. From what I hear, Keagan will not be in the circle this weekend. I hope I am surprised on that but I doubt it. Frankly, I'll be happy with 2 of 3 in our most difficult series and throw in a sweep or two. The SEC is nuts. As hard to win here as it is in OKC. Everybody in this league will face some ups and downs, including us.
