It doesn’t matter what I think. This was originally sold by Musk as “I’m going to work for free, this is going to be a private non-government office, and it won’t cost tax payers anything”…. Now it’s “give us money, taxpayers need to pay for this”….

Do you disagree? Its a simple “yes or no” question, so answer it,

That’s some honest and much needed self reflection in your part… anyone can look at this thread and see it was you who started (and lost) this argument in embarrassing fashion.

Elon is definitely my nominee for the chutzpah award. The guy creates a pseudo governmental agency calling it the Department of Governmental Efficiency when all it's done is to prevent the efficient operation of the government and now demands to be paid for the destruction that he has caused and all the while he has also benefited through contracts with the Federal government in the billions of dollars and eliminating Federal oversight of multiple enterprises that he controls.

Nobody asked for "his people" so why should we (taxpayers) have to pay for them. I thought they were doing their patriotic duty. So, that comes with a pricetag now? Why am I not surprised.

He's in St. Petersburg. And not the one I'm sitting in on a sunny 80* day. Do the math.

Just randomly shows up in October, never posts on the football board. . . .

    Again, do the math.

Because he was told to believe that. You think Rick comes up with any position organically? Come on man. It's Rick.

I mean, he already stole a $2.4 Billion FAA contract from Verizon. Never did it cross the self-reporting Conflic of Interest line though, so don't worry. Not a conflict, he just took it. But it is tiring to steal money, so he needs to get paid for it. He can't even do the DOGE accounting accurately but some morons still think he is whip-smart and are happy to pay him more of their money.
