Okay, we've heard the litany of how Trump, Vance, et al were mean, jerks, idiots, rude and _______________.
Got it. What is the Democrats plan for peace?
    1. Continue as is so that several hundred thousands more die but we get to sell them munitions?
    2. Send John Kerry so he can party with Europe's elite? (He knows which fork to use)
    3. Weep and wail about what(ever) Trump is doing and continue to disparage him so elections look better?

Zelenskyy, the Dems and the Euros would love nothing more than to blame Trump for THEIR PATHETIC WAR FAILURES...

I agree up to the end. I chose to believe that Ukraine is just a country without US support for 4 years.

I have no idea what the Democrat plan would be but supporting Ukraine until they’re in a better position to negotiate terms would be useful. You don’t reward the aggressor in this situation which is what is being proposed and will only incentivize China to make a move on Taiwan sooner than later. Cutting off aid now only weakens Ukraine’s position entering any kind of negotiation which is clearly what Krasnov/Vance/Putin wanted all along.

The first part of the plan for peace is to not reward dictators who engage in unilateral aggression by invading other countries.

(Even if we rilly rilly luv Russia because Daddy does because they helped get him elected)

PATHETIC WAR FAILURES ? Seems to me likely only a sniveling bone-spurs, draft-dodging, cowardly, commie could see what fight Ukraine has put up and call it a failure. Embarrassing.

Good point. But catering to Putin’s wants isn’t an option. That’s backing & rewarding a ruthless dictator who oversaw war crimes in multiple countries and everyone says he can’t be trusted. All because “that’s what Trump says to think”

It will depend on just how much support Trump withholds, how much the EU can fill the gap, and (this should be unthinkable), if Trump commits completely to Russia.

I really hope you're right, though.

And what are those failures? Considering that Putin expected Ukraine to fold within weeks of his February 2022 invasion and even with though Russia may be very gradually gaining territory and inflicting misery on Ukrainian civilians I wouldn't exactly call Russian losses in the hundreds of thousands winning.

    Obama - Crimea
    Biden - Donbas
Trump - killed Russian soldiers in Syria when they hassled our ass.

Leftists thinking: “ergo, Trump is a Putin stooge because, you know, nuance.”

Trump needs to extricate himself and the U.S.A. from anything in Ukraine.

I say we should just sell the Europeans all the weapons they need and let them deal with their war.

Remember, the Euros needs these minerals too, so they might already have a deal with their companies to mine these minerals in Ukraine. I don't trust those socialist countries in the EU.

Right now is the right time to take care of the Iran problem, especially with Russia distracted with their war in Ukraine.

Interestingly Iran is receiving a lot of foreign exchange through its sale of drones and other weapons to Russia.

How Iran Benefits from Weapon Sales to Russia
Thanks to Trump, the US and Iran are now both supporting the Russian effort in Ukraine with Iran perhaps being the being primary beneficiary of the relationship.

You neglected to mention that when the US abandoned bases in Syria near the Turkish border the same bases were taken over by Russians.
Russia takes over base left by U.S. forces near Syria's Raqqa

For what it’s worth, my buddy with Ukraine connections just said he believes the US-Ukraine deal will be signed today or tomorrow.
