Listen, we're not outraged about Trump changing the date of the White House Easter Egg Roll. Trump is almost singlehandedly raising tariffs on our neighbors and allies; provoking hostility from NATO, a security alliance that has been effective for decades; turned the Civil Service into a chaotic mess; put forth plans to make Gaza the next Palm Beach; and changed horses in midstream in Ukraine. In the first month! His flamboyantly dramatic and destructive acts demand a vigorous reaction.
Other than blaming the war on Ukraine, calling Zelensky a dictator, and stopping military aid to Ukraine? Nothing.
Because he's a blustering bloviating so-and-so. Always was, always will be. Repubs could have a relatively decent presidential candidate several times over, but no. Trump is an idea -- he represents some of the most selfish self-serving impulses people can have. People like myself are not evil demonic libbies. We just have a different perspective on what public service could and should be. If America is to no longer stand against invading war-mongers, it is only a matter of time before we'll find ourselves with few friends in a fractious world. If you truly want a strongman government in Washington, you will lose personal freedoms along the way. Some of us are not okay with that.
^ This is pretty much identical to publicly telling Putin's lies that Ukraine started the war against Russia, and that Zelensky is a "dictator." Same thing entirely!
So the fact that Zelenskyy has taken the assets of his opponents, cancelled elections, shut down tv and radio stations that opposed him, is he the wet dream of the Democrat party?
What's the date of the interview? Just asking. Aren't you the same poster who tried to compare Bill Clinton's Reinventing Government Initiative the one that didn't begin actual cuts in Federal agencies and employment until a 6-month review of virtually every government agency was completed and its recommendations were sent to Congress with Elon Musk's DOGE which began cuts within days of Trump's inauguration and involved no study before the cuts began?
Maybe Trump's movement needs a new more accurate title like MRGA (Making Russia Great Again) pronounced Merga. The title is much more reflective of the Trump Administration's policy than the oxymoron "Make America Great Again" considering that his actual policies are doing the opposite.
Withdrawing aid to Ukraine, negotiating with Putin while excluding the Ukrainians, causing splits in historically strong alliances around the world over stupid stuff like buying Greenland, and has generally oriented law enforcement away from money laundering and other white collar crime that are key components of the Russian economy (it should be noted here that Trump was a vendor to these folks). Why, because the thinnest skinned person in America who spends his time flipping out that somebody was mean to him on social media said so? How does one hold a national election while a chunk of the country is under occupation by a foreign army? Is it possible that it is because his political opponents are...corrupt? Evidence? Putin. "Good relationship." Well, that is quite the euphemism for "does whatever Putin wants."
Adding that was in 2012 before both Putin's 2014 invasion of Ukraine not to mention his 2022 invasion. Obama may have been naive, what's Trump's excuse other than that he is a knowing tool of Vladimir Putin?
Putin has done all those things and more. Yet you're a big Putin fan. So I don't think your issue is with dictators.
SEE!!! Trump cures cancer, but.......... he's a blustering bloviating so-and-so. Wow, what a convincing spiel.
She single-handedly ended any presidential aspirations Kamala ever had, so I get it. TDS: Tulsi Derangement Syndrome.
The mental masturbation from the libs when I post that is always a hoot! Thank you Jo, for keeping the streak alive!!
I suppose we will see when/if Putin decides to show any aggression under Trump. It didn’t take him long to show it under Obama and even less time under Brandon. Didn’t see it under W, and didn’t see it in Trump’s first term.
