Would a headcount matter to you? No, it wouldn't. Sentence two proves that. Plausible deniability, eh? The point is not whether they "disturbed negotiations." They clearly did, but we need not go down that rabbit hole. That they were advocating for continuance of the war and for a foreign leader to oppose the POTUS is the bad business. But they clearly gave Zelenskyy the message it was okay to do what he did and yeah, it's nobody's fault but Zelenskyy's. That doesn't make what they did okay.

    1. He asked for the headcount because another poster made the claim that democrats out numbered republicans.

    2. What is the basis claiming they disturbed the negotiations other than them simply meeting with Zelenskyy? Lindsay Graham had no problem with the content of that meeting and was excited to go over to the signing afterward.

It was I who made the claim in #1. Does it matter? It doesn't. As for point #2, you're either being flippant for the sake of being flippant or you truly have no clue about diplomacy or the etiquette. The short version is that you don't undermine a trip by a foreign head of state to meet with the POTUS period. That it involved encouraging the proliferation of bloodshed makes it unusually appalling and disgusting.

You’re just making up etiquette and the contents of the meeting to suit your narrative.

Am I now? Tell me how many leaders you have seen come to the White House, rolled their eyes at the president multiple times and come out on the good end of that? The party doesn’t matter. Name one other time a world leader has behaved in that way towards our president in front of God and everyone. And how did that go for them?

Moving the goal posts from elected officials meeting with Zelenskyy ahead of his meeting with the President to Zelensky’s supposed comportment at the Oval Office. Nice. The only people that acted like asses in the Oval Office were Trump, the couch humper, and MTG’s side piece.
